WHO IS ALIEN IMAGING?

ALIEN IMAGING launched in 2002 as a boutique, one man sound effect creation shop.  The one man – is me – Jeff Schmidt.  I’m a 20 year commercial radio vet – the last 15 of which has been spent as Creative Director at KFOG, KSAN, KNBR, KUFX, KTCT, KGMZ in San Francisco, CA.  I make sweepers and promos for a living.  And I make the sounds that make sweepers and promos sound cooler.  Check out some of my radio work at http://schmidtzbitz.com I also design sound for video games – check out some samples here 

WHAT RADIO FORMATS ARE ALIEN IMAGING LIBRARIES FOR?

All Alien Imaging Libraries are designed for contemporary radio imaging.  That tends to attract a greater number of Hits, and Rock Radio based customers.

That said – nearly every commercial and public radio format has purchased Alien Imaging FX.  Rock, Hits, Christian, Urban, Country, Talk (News/and Sports) and Public Radio.

If you want the modern sound without a lot of format specific sounds (distorted guitars, for example) these libraries will do the job.

DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS?

Yes!  If there is a current promotion it will be promoted prominently on the home page.  UNLESS it’s a Newsletter only discount.

All Alien Imaging FX Libraries are presently BUY OUT.  Which means – once you pay for it – you can use it for  your imaging work without further payments.  You MAY NOT re-sell the sounds in whole or in part as SOUNDS in ANY format.  If you need clarification – just ask –  I’m easy to work with.

CAN I USE A SINGLE LIBRARY PURCHASE ON SEVERAL WORKSTATIONS/FORMATS AT MY COMPANY?

It’s easy!

On the product page  of the library you want – just hit the ADD TO CART button that looks like this 

You’ll be taken to a page that shows the contents of your cart.  Like this.

When you’re ready to buy click the big CHECKOUT WITH PAYPAL button that looks like this

You’ll then be taken to this page:

If you have a PayPal account – just enter your details and continue the transaction.

Once payment is confirmed – a secure link to download your libraries is sent to you.

No PAYPAL?

Just click the DON’T HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT link and use a major credit card instead.

WHAT DO I GET WHEN I BUY?

Files.  Digital audio files.  Specifically, WAV files.  All Alien Imaging libraries are delivered as downloads.  The  aproximate number of files and size in MB is listed on the product page for each library.

You must own a lot of libraries then.  :)

It’s a fairly common practice for companies to send high profile radio producers free material in exchange for a promotional blurb.  It’s part of the biz.

But I’ve never done that.

I have however sold my libraries into every major U.S. Canadian and European Radio market.  Several stations in NYC too.  Just not Mr. Foxx’s.  :)
